Actually, it's an advance reading copy, an uncorrected proof.
But it looks like a book, it feels like a book, it smells like a book, it reads like a book. So it must be a book! It's hard to believe that an idea of mine, after a little bit of a struggle and a lot of help, is now a book. Kinda cool.

I love the cover!
So, did you shot this in a mirror, or is there something terribly wrong with the ARC . . .
congrats on your ARC brian!
Emma: thanks on behalf of the designer. Records are cool.
Andrew: It's something funky with the camera on my macbook. There is a setting I noticed afterwards that would have fixed it as I took it, but once it's done, it seems to be done. And I can't do nothin with macphoto. The arc made a splash at school--I had a hard time hanging on to it! Btw, the "B" side was appreciated--more evidence of the relevance of vinyl among 14ers.
Zee: thanks!
Hi Brian--nice to meet you! Thanks for visiting me--I have seen those black chucks before. Best of luck w/ your novel. What a beautiful cover!
Congrats on the book!
Heidi--same to you. The chucks belong to my old student and fab photgrapher Andie Banandie--You can see she was fairly relaxed as I was reading LHA's CATALYST to the class!
Christine: Thanks a bunch!
Love the author photo montage.
Very moving if you know what I mean.
Cheers!
